FURNITURE MAKE-OVER PROGRESS I - behind the scence

I have pulled several furniture pieces out into
the yard to work on all at the same time,
including this tall 70's book shelf. Greedy
I know but the weather is sooo nice!

It has become challenging to keep track of photos, colors, and techniques during the nice weather to complete blog postings. So I'm going to wing it and give you smaller updates as I can and you can follow along as things progress with each project.

I removed the back of this tall 70's shelf so I could apply a wallpaper to it and to make
it easier to paint the shelf. The pull down door in the middle has been removed permanently
and the holes left from the hinge were filled. Then the painting started. A shelf like this
takes a lot of paint because of all the inside and outside surfaces. I even painted the inside
of the cabinet behind the bottom doors.

I'LL BE BACK ...
